Wrexham's first tramway opened in 1876 with a single line and just two horse-drawn trams. The horses were replaced with electric trams in 1901.
The design of this postcard is based on a photo of one the trams from around 1876. The dark blue colour is a guess as all photos of the trams from that time are black and white.
The back of the postcard features some fun facts about the history of Wrexham's Tramways.
