I had two very different Christmas fairs this week; the first was freezing cold and the second toasty warm, but they were both very successful. Cefn-y-bedd Christmas Market
Penley Rainbow Centre Christmas Fair
So far it's been a very good Christmas fair season!

Despite a slow start this craft fair turned out to be my most successful one yet, and I will definitely be returning to Holywell next Christmas!
After many months of drawing, painting, editing, ordering, waiting and packaging I've finally got my Christmas cards on Etsy. I did two collections again this year; a fun one and a more grown up one. I also went for a square shape this time as I've noticed it seems to be a more popular shape these days.
Now that they're out there lets hope they sell! P.s. It's nearly Christmas! Yay! Only four days to go until my first Christmas fair of the year so this week is all about finishing touches and getting everything ready to make sure my first one goes as well as be. I'm adding yet another craft item to my stall this Christmas - bottletop key rings! My dad and my boyfriend have struggled their way through lots of beers and ales to get me some fun and unique bottle tops, and I hope everyone will love what I've done with them! I wonder if this will be my big seller this Christmas season? My Christmas decorations collection is getting larger! I've added some felt Christmas bells, with ribbon and button details. Plus I've made a new batch of red stockings, as they were very popular last year.
It's nearly Christmas market time! I thought I'd show you how I paint my Doggy Baubles. They are painted in acrylic, and mostly follow the same path with regards to how they're painted.
So with a very small paint brush and quite a lot of patience that's how it's done!
Today saw the commencement of this years batch of doggy baubles. This is a photo of the first five, in varying stages of completion.
My christmas craft bits will be up on my Etsy shop page this week. The gingerbread men spent the morning getting ready for their photo shoot today, and don't they look adorable! They're bound to bring some festive cheer to any christmas tree! Today I finally finished this years batch of gingerbread men christmas tree decorations. Five varieties this year, and very soon they will be up on Etsy and following me to various craft fairs. Coming soon to a christmas tree near you! |
