The Art Bunny Facebook page reached 200 likes this week! Artemis was so excited he busted out the balloons!   Here is a painting I made called 'Hello Pluto'. It's based on the first high resolution image of Pluto sent back by the New Horizons space probe. It's rather large (39.5in x 39.5in) but I felt a painting of a whole planet should be. I've always felt sorry for Pluto ever since it got demoted from planet status, so now that it's getting some recognition at last I thought I'd celebrate it in paint! You go Pluto! Below is a time lapse video of how this painting was created. It's something I mean to do all the time and I finally remembered. Hope you like it!  This years batch of gingerbread men. It's that time of year again when I have to start getting things ready for Christmas. As always the gingerbread men are the first to be made as they are my best seller. |
