I thought I'd show you how I paint my Doggy Baubles. They are painted in acrylic, and mostly follow the same path with regards to how they're painted.
So with a very small paint brush and quite a lot of patience that's how it's done!
This week I came across a wonderful gallery of unusual, beautiful and at times down right adorable caterpillars, and the moths and butterflies they turn into. My attention has often been diverted from some practical undertaking, often accompanied by the phrase "ooo look a butterfly!" They are magical little creatures, and these pictures just further my love of them even more. I also feel that moths get an unusually bad name a lot if the time, but when you look at the flannel moth don't you just want to hug it! You can never have too many pretty pictures in your day - Enjoy! Source: Bored Panda
Today saw the commencement of this years batch of doggy baubles. This is a photo of the first five, in varying stages of completion.
It was a busy day for the Art Bunny Etsy shop page today. I added three new craft items to my hawl; flower owls, fabric hearts and gingerbread men. Hopefully others will like them as much as I do - even more hopefully they'll like them enough to buy them!
Lots more christmas decorations will be going up soon, and I'll be out and about at craft fairs selling them as well. I had a few rather unsuccessful craft fairs last year, so lets hope this year they'll all be worth while! Here's some lovely pictures of what went out into the world today. My christmas craft bits will be up on my Etsy shop page this week. The gingerbread men spent the morning getting ready for their photo shoot today, and don't they look adorable! They're bound to bring some festive cheer to any christmas tree! Lots and lots of lovely owls! All ready to sell at craft fairs and on Etsy. My craft portfolio is growing nicely it seems! Today I finally finished this years batch of gingerbread men christmas tree decorations. Five varieties this year, and very soon they will be up on Etsy and following me to various craft fairs. Coming soon to a christmas tree near you! |
