I was asked to make this recently for a 45 wedding anniversary. It's an A4 size card featuring the important moments in the couples life together.

It's based on a print the couples daughter found on the internet, but she wanted me to put my own flare to it.

As it was their sapphire anniversary I feature blue thoughout the design though I wanted to keep the background neutral to give it a vintage flavour.

I was very pleased with how this turned out. Years of making cards for birthdays and Christmas clearly weren't wasted!

I have been waiting for nearly three months to put this out into the world and now that the wedding has come and gone I finally can!

This pen illustration was designed to look like the Alice in Wonderland illustrations by John Tenniel. I changed the characters faces for those of the bride and groom and created a wedding type scene based on the Mad Hatters tea party. I also changed the Mad Hatters polka dot waistcoat to feature the tartan that the groom would be wearing.

It's the first proper pen illustration I've done other than little sketches and it was a little scary to do. You can't rub out pen if you go wrong! I'm very pleased with how it turned out and it's now one of my favourite all time pieces.

I hope I get to do some more projects like this in the future!
