Another lovely Plassey craft fair

This Saturday just gone I was back at The Plassey near Wrexham doing another craft fair hosted by Memory Lane Fairs. It was a beautiful sunny day and the turn out was even better than last time I was there. Thanks in large part I think to this:

The amazing new castle play area at The Plassey

A beautiful owl that came for a visit.

It was the grand opening of the new castle play area (of which I am extremely jealous and plan on replicating as soon as I can afford to).

The opening was officiated by a flurry of balloons released into the sky by the children from the local Eyton school, closely followed by a child stampede as they rushed across the drawbridge into the castle.

This craft fair was the debut of my lovely new display stand made for me by my wonderful boyfriend Stu out of an old pallet. Isn't he clever!

It's fair to say we all got thoroughly soaked, but there was only an hour to go so it wasn't so bad.
At least it was refreshing!
