A very blustery craft fair!

Well this Saturday was my first craft fair of 2015 and it was certainly a memorable one! The sun was shining and there was lots of people all day; almost the perfect craft fair. Then there came the wind! Much of the afternoon was spent finding creative ways to keep my craft from blowing away, along with my gazebo, which seemed determined to take flight instead of staying put. Yet despite much of the blood behind drained from my arms from clinging to the gazebo for several hours, it was actually quite a nice little fair.

This was how my stall looked at the start of the day when all was calm and no-one was even thinking about whether there stuff was going to fly away or not.

During the morning I had quite a nice display of all my new craft items, which by midday had been greatly downsized and taped to the table. Thank God for masking tape! 

One addition to the fair which made me smile was the Thomas the Tank Engine style land train which made continuous loops around the fair all day. I find it's very hard not to enjoy yourself when Thomas is around!

So that was The Plassey Craft and Country Fair 2015. I must say that every time I do a craft fair my fellow stall holders are always great and very helpful, but at this one they surpassed themselves, and I am extremely greatful for all the help I received in keeping my stall and my craft earthbound. Thank you!
